Description
Deutsch: 15.10.2007 08491 Netzschkau, Schloßstraße: Spätgotisches Schloß, (GMP: 50.614806,12.248441). Der mit einem Rund- und einem vorgesetztem Viereckturm versehene Schloßflügel wurde um 1490 für Caspar Metzsch errichtet. Die Vorhangbogenfenster und die Staffelgiebel sind typische Architekturmotive der sächsischen Spätgotik. Die Adelsfamilie Metzsch verkaufte den Besitz 1578 an Joachim und Christoph von Reibold. 1617 kam Netzschkau an die Adelsfamilie Bose. Der reiche Carol Bose (1596-1657), damals der größte Grundbesitzer im westlichen Erzgebirge und im Vogtland, fügte um 1626/27 zwei weitere Schloßflügel an. Diese wurden jedoch 1953 abgebrochen, weil sie nicht mehr zu halten waren. 1858 kaufte Heinrich Graf von Schönburg-Hinterglauchau den Adelssitz. Er ließ den umliegenden Schlosspark im englischen Landschaftsstil anlegen. 1944 erwarb die Stadt Netzschkau Schloß und Park. Der 1998 gegründete Förderverein Schloss Netzschkau ermöglicht die Besichtigung des Adelssitzes. Sicht von Süden. [DSCN30648-30649.TIF]20071015420MDR.JPG(c)Blobelt
