Deutsch: 25.08.2007 01157 Dresden-Omsewitz: Biotop Kümmelschänke, Omse (GMP: 51.055070,13.660324), Kümmelschänkenweg 2 und rechts Gehöft Altomsewitz 7, ehemaliges Weingut (GMP: 51.055011,13.660842). Die Ausflugsgaststätte "Kümmelschänke" entstand aus einem Gebäude des 15. Jahrhunderts. 1737 urkundlich erwähnt, ursprünglicher Name war Rosengarten. Der Besitzer Karl Traugott Christian Winkler (1856-1917) benannte sie in "Kümmelschänke" um, wohl wegen dem hier ausgeschänkten Kümmelschnaps und durch den in der Schänke verarbeiteten Feld- und Wildkümmel zu Kümmelkäse, Kümmelfleisch u.a. Gerichten. Ab 1973 wegen Baufälligkeit geschlossen. Nach 1988 auf Initiative der Vereinigung "Dresdner Wanderzunft" saniert und am 17. 07.1993 wieder eröffnet. Heute [2007] ist sie Heimstatt des "Gemeinnützigen Vereins für Lebenskultur und Gemeinsinn e. V." mit Ausflugsgaststätte im Biotop. Auf dem Gelände der Kümmelschänke ist u.a. ein Töpferofen, mit dem u.a. der Keramik-Künstler Gunther Neustadt seine Werke wie den -> Nessi-Brunnen hergestellt hat. Omsewitz ist ein Straßendorf mit Streusiedlung, 1317 erste urkundliche Nennung. Seit 1559 unterstanden Omsewitz und Burgstädtel dem kurfürstlichen Amt Dresden. 1905 Vereinigung der Dörfer Omsewitz und Burgstädtel. 1930 Eingemeindung nach Dresden.
