Deutsch: 23.04.2007 02894 Döbschütz (Vierkirchen), Döbschütz 59 (GMP: 51.189768,14.757312): Schloß von Süden, Eingang. Ursprünglich eine Wasserburg gehört es zu den ältesten Anlagen seiner Art in der Oberlausitz. Teile des Mauerwerks sollen aus dem 12. Jh. stammen. Im Jahre 1174 sollen sich der Böhmische König Wladislaw II. und dessen Gemahlin Jutta auf ihrer Flucht hier aufgehalten haben. Das Schloß war unmittelbarer königlicher Besitz und gehörte noch vor 1218 der Königin Kunigunde. 1218 geht der Besitz an die Familie derer von Debschitz über. 1280 erste urkundliche Erwähnung des Hugo von Debschitz, dessen Wappen sich noch heute über der Eingangstür befindet. Die bauliche Gestalt, die das Wasserschloß heute besitzt, geht auf Albrecht Graf von Roon zurück. Der preußische Generalfeldmarschall kaufte 1876 das Rittergut Döbschütz. Bis zur Enteignung 1945 gehörte es Dr. Alfred Daniel. Während das Land an Neubauern verteilt wurde, brachte man im Schloß fünfzehn Flüchtlingsfamilien unter. 2001 verkaufte die Gemeinde Vierkirchen das Schloß an Sylke und Thomas Rößler. 2003 eröffnete das Ehepaar ein privates Spielzeugmuseum.
