Deutsch: 09.03.2007 01324 Dresden-Weißer Hirsch: Mietshäuser Bautzner Landstraße v.l.n.r.: Nr. 7 Parkhotel, dann 9, 11. 13 (11B), 15. Die ersten Gebäude gegenüber dem alten Gutshaus (Hirschenhaus) entstanden ab 1804, als man an dieser Stelle die Bebauung von 14 Grundstücken genehmigte. Allerdings wurde bis Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts nur eingeschränkt von dieser Genehmigung Gebrauch gemacht, da bis 1836 lediglich sechs Parzellen bebaut waren. Um 1900 erwarben Investoren, unter ihnen der Baumeister Ferdinand Schaeffer, die Grundstücke und ließen die vorhandenen bescheidenen Wohnhäuser durch repräsentative Mehrfamilienhäuser ersetzten. Um die architektonische Gestaltung entbrannte ein heftiger Streit zwischen Architekt und Baubehörde, in dem sich Schaeffer jedoch schließlich durchsetzte. 1904/05 konnten die Gebäude, die zum Teil interessante Fassaden- und Treppenhausgestaltungen im Jugendstil besitzen, fertiggestellt werden. Im Haus Nr. 15 befand sich bis zum Ersten Weltkrieg das Postamt Weißer Hirsch (GMP: 51.063579,13.822956). Heute nutzt die Commerzbank die Räume. Weitere Räumlichkeiten dienten gewerblichen Zwecken, u.a. bis 1961 als Stammsitz der bekannten Eisenwarenhandlung Richter. Im Treppenhaus haben sich bis zur Gegenwart interessante Glasfenster mit Pflanzen- und Landschaftsdarstellungen erhalten. [DSCN21294.TIF]20070309210DR(c)Blobelt |
