Deutsch: 06.01.2007 01069 Dresden-Seevorstadt: Blick von Süden aus der St. Petersburger Straße zur östlichen Randbebauung der Prager Straße, der "Prager Zeile", St. Petersburger Straße 26 bis 32 (GMP: 51.043501,13.736181). Errichtet wurde das Gebäude von 1965-1967 nach Plänen des Architektenkollektivs M. Arlt, K. Haller, K.-H. Schulze, Statik H. Scharping. 12 Geschosse, 240 m lang. Ladengeschoß monolithisch, Obergeschosse 5 Mp-Plattenbauweise, 9 Wohngeschosse. Die 240m lange Wohnzeile entsprach dem Zeitgeschack der "Wohnmaschinen" nach dem Vorbild des französischen Star-Architekten Le Corbusier. 2007/08 von der Gagfah saniert. 561 meist 2-Raum-Wohnungen. Rechts mit im Bild das 1996-1998 von der UFA GmbH nach Plänen des Architekturbüros Coop Himmelb(l)au errichtete Kino "UFA-Kristallpalast", ein Flaggschiff dekonstruktivistischer Architektur. Acht Kinosäle mit fast 2700 Sitzplätzen verteilen sich auf den fünf Etagen einer gewaltigen Sichtbetonskulptur mit vorgeblendeter Aluminium-Gitterblechfassaden.
