Deutsch: 17.07.2006 01307 Dresden-Johannstadt: Mehrgeschossiger, sanierter Plattenbau Stübelallee 11, 11a, 11b (GMP: 51.043797,13.762781), 13a ... Bis zum Zweiten Weltkrieg entwickelt sich die Johannstadt mit fast 60000 Einwohnern zum größten Stadtteil Dresdens. In der Nacht zum 14. Februar 1945 wird der Stadtteil durch angloamerikanische Bomben ausgelöscht. Die Ruinenfelder werden großflächig abgetragen und beräumt. Nur einigen wenigen Straßen hat das Bombeninferno nichts anhaben können. Die vielen Leerflächen, die durch diese Vorgehensweise entstehen, werden in den kommenden Jahrzehnten aufgrund der Wohnungsnot mit Neubauprogrammen überzogen. Ende der 1960er Jahre beginnt der Bau der damals größten Plattenbausiedlung in der Stadt. In Johannstadt-Nord und -Süd werden nach nur wenigen Jahren über 6000 neue Wohnungen zur Verfügung gestellt. Heute beherbergt das Viertel nach den später errichteten Neubausiedlungen Prohlis und Gorbitz das drittgrößte Plattenbaugebiet Dresdens. [DSCN10751.TIF]200607170010DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
