On the east side of the Sassolungo lies the "Stone City", which owes its existence to a huge prehistoric landslide area.
These are numerous boulders of different sizes, which on an area of about 30 hectares contribute to the unique landscape of the Sella Pass.

Place: Route no. 526C, Municipality Sëlva, District Salten-Schlern, South Tyrol, Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy
