Deutsch: 16.05.2004 01561 Zabeltitz, Am Park: Vor den beiden Schlössern "Großer Stall" und dem Neuen Palais ließ Graf Christian August von Wackerbarth einen ausgedehnten Park im französischen Stil anlegen. Der Park zählt zu den größten und bedeutendsten Parkanlagen Sachsens. Unter Prinz Xaver kamen englische Gartenkünste zum Ausbau. Der Statuenschmuck des Parks entstand durchweg in der Zeit des Prinzen Xaver. Die Skulpturen wurden zwischen 1730 und 1800 von verschiedenen Künstlern geschaffen, wobei die bekannteste Figurengruppe "Die Riesenkinder" (GMP: 51.353200,13.494830) in der Werkstatt von Balthasar Permoser entstanden sein soll.
