State of Florida Governor June 4, 1963 Mr. Paul W. Danahy, Jr. 613 First National Bank Building Tampa, Florida Dear Mr. Danahy: This is to advise you that I am today designating you as member of the Gettysburg Memorial Commission. I have asked Mr. Adam G. Adams, 208 Valencia Avenue, Coral Gables 34, Chairman of our Civil War Centennial Advisory Committee, to serve as Chairman. He will be in touch with you with regard to carrying out the provisions of this Act, copy of which I am enclosing. I will be grateful for your service on this Commission which has an important role in proper commemoration of Florida’s participation in the War between the States. Sincerely, Farris Bryant Governor
