Deutsch: 21.09.1987 DDR 2861 [19386] Passow (Mecklenburg): Schloß Gutshaus Passow (GMP: 53.503513,12.052339), Am Schloß 66. 1797 erwarb Ulrich Phillip von Behr Negendank mehrere Güter in Mecklenburg und ließ in Passow ein eingeschossiges Gutshaus auf d. Grundmauern einer alten slawischen Burg errichten. 1839-1842 erweiterte August Gustav Hortarius von Behr Negendank das aufgestockte Gutshaus zum heutigen Schloß. Es ist ein bedeutendes, sehr seltenes Beispiel reinen Klassizismus / Palladianismus. Die einmaligen Ausmalungen der Wände in Passow im OG erfolgten nach Vorlagen aus der Villa Vettier in Pompeji und zu allegorischen Motiven der Tier- und Pflanzenwelt der verschiedenen pompejanischen Epochen in der Kuppel des Passower Gutshauses durch Guiseppe Anselmo Luigi Pellicia. Der letzte des Geschlechts - Heino v. Behr Negendank - wurde 1932 auf dem Friedhof von Passow beigesetzt. Anschließend kam der Besitz bis 1945 an die Familie Franz Beese. Der angeordnete Abriss des Gutshauses wurde durch den russischen Leutnant Wassiljew der Kommandantur Parchim verhindert. Das Gutshaus war zunächst mit Vertriebenen belegt. Danach diente es unterschiedlichen Zwecken; wie z.B. Maschinen-Ausleih-Station, Kulturhaus "Thomas Müntzer" mit Saal & Bühne, Dorfbibliothek, Unterrichtsraum, Kindergarten u. zuletzt als Gemeindebüro. 1997 erwarb Dr. Heinz-Jürgen Beuter das Kleinod von der Gemeinde und ließ es zum Schloßhotel ausbauen.
