Only the second MkV Cortina I've spotted, and both ones I've been sprinting down the road after! This is the first Ghia I've spotted, and not one I've seen around this town before. It's a pity it gets dark so early these days- this would've been much better in daylight, but I'm very pleased with the outcome, in pitch black conditions. It's an automatic, driven by an elderly looking chap who speared bemused by the sight of me running down the high street in the rain taking photos! I may have looked stupid but I wasn't going to let this one get away. Clearly still a daily driver given the weather conditions, it was lovely to see. From what I could make out, it looked in good condition too. One of 42 Ghia autos left- when this one was sold the Cortina was Britain's best selling car.
