Description
Deutsch: 31.01.1970 DDR 1000 Berlin: Ausstellung "Architektur und Bildende Kunst" im Alten Museum: Stadtmodell Dresden, Blick nach Osten über den Fucikplatz (nach 1991 Straßburger Platz). Hier kreuzen sich die Grunaer Straße nach links, die nach rechts zur Stübelallee wird. Von Süden (vorn Mitte) kommt die Lennéstraße, die nach Norden zur Güntzstraße wird. Die geplante Ausstellungshalle (GMP: 51.044300,13.754600) vorn rechts mit den 2 Flügel-Dächern wurde nie gebaut, ebensowenig das Hochhaus (GMP: 51.044900,13.756440). Nachdem nach der Wende dann 1999 auch die vorhandene, am 24.05.1970 eröffnete Ausstellungshalle (GMP: 51.043660,13.755940) rechts mit den X-förmigen Trägern abgerissen worden war, bebaute man das ehemalige Volksfestgelände am Großen Garten mit einer Fabrik (GMP: 044600,13.755560). Die beiden 15-geschossigen Plattenbau-Hochhäuser von 1968 Grunaer Straße 24/26 links im Bild (GMP: 045740,13.753070) stehen auch noch 2018. Auch die von 1954 bis 1955 gebauten Wohnhäuser nördlich der Grunaer Straße / Ecke Blochmannstraße 1 (GMP: 046860,13.753555) sind noch vorhanden. Fast so wie im Modell geplant wurden die IW 67 Plattenbau-Wohnhäuser der östlichen Platzrandbebauung (postalisch Marschnerstraße) von 1977-78 errichtet, aber deren zur Stübelallee stehender Gebäudebereich (GMP: 046330,13.756530) bereits 2004 wieder abgerissen.
