Deutsch: 31.01.1970 Berlin - Ausstellung "Architektur und Bildende Kunst" im Alten Museum: Stadtmodell Dresden - Blick vom Hauptbahnhof in die Prager Straße. Vorn mittig Hotel Newa, dann die "Prager Zeile", dahinter das Rundkino. Danach das bis auf die Fundamente nie gebaute Hochhaus am Ferdinandplatz. Dahinter der Altmarkt mit Kreuzkirche und Kulturpalast. Rechts der Rathausturm. Mitte vorn die SB-Gaststätte "Bastei" mit Keramikwandbild "Dresden grüßt seine Gäste". English: From an exhibition called "Architecture and Fine Arts" at the Old Museum in Berlin (1970): A post-war model of the proposed reconstruction of Dresden, viewed from Central Station to Prague Street. Front center: Hotel Neva; then the "Prague Zeile"; behind it the round cinema. After that, the high-rise building at Ferdinandplatz, which was never been built. Behind is the Old Market with Cross Church and Palace of Culture. On the right, the town hall tower. Centre front is the self-service restaurant "Bastei " with its ceramic wall picture "Dresden greets its guests." Behind this are the 3 hotel discs Bastei, Königstein and Lilienstein. Behind them, the Centrum (downtown) department store.
