I absolutely love these! Believe me, if one came up for sale and I had the cash, I would buy it. I don't know of many car marques that named a car after a woman like Borgward did, except for Skoda, who made the Octavia and Felicia. Being German Borgward obviously tried to compete with BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz, but buyers obviously went to the big three and Borgward became defunct in 1961, after only 32 years in operation. This one was beautiful, and, judging by the number plate, has been here for most of its life, if not all.
