Description

From the museum description: "This car is regarded as the most striking and aesthetically successful US car of the mid-1930s. Its sleek and distinctive design innovations included disappearing headlights, total elimination of running boards, "alligator style" front-latched hood opening, "coffin nose" front-end styling and teardrop shaped fenders, all of which influenced other manufacturers' designs in years ahead. In addition to masterful design, the Cord incorporated radical engineering, including the use of front wheel drive and an optional supercharged engine."
