Summary[edit]

Description
English: View of the "Leonora Hearse", a 1927 Chevrolet truck fitted with a hearse body, on display at the Gwalia Museum, Gwalia, Western Australia. According to the museum label, the hearse body was originally part of a horse-drawn buggy, and was later modified to be towed by an Erskine (automobile)Erskine Tourer taxi. In 1932, it was briefly converted back to horse drawn configuration for a special funeral, and then fitted to the Chevrolet chassis.
