In center of photo, South Thirteenth Street extends to the horizon in the background, with the Pierce County Courthouse above the horizon to right of center. In center foreground are 3 tall smokestacks on the roof of an industrial building. At photo right are the Eleventh Street Bridge, with the Tacoma Municipal Dock behind it, and a portion of the Thea Foss Waterway at extreme right. The Washington Building, under construction, is in right half of photo. Left edge of photo is missing. At lower left edge of photo is a business with the name Northern Fish Co. Apparently the end of the Thea Foss Waterway is at center of left edge. Other business names on buildings in photo are the Davis, Smith and Co., Crane Company, and W.P. Fuller and Co. |
