Summary[edit]

Description

The 4 cyl Austin Twenty was a large car introduced in 1919 after the end of the First World War. The engine was a 20hp 3610cc 4 cyl. They were available in a Saloon, a Tourer, a Coupe, a Landaulette and a light van. In 1927 a 6 cyl version was made available and an updated body, Austin 20/6, the 4 cyl car now known as the 20/4. The 6 cyl was 3397cc and 49hp. 1932 saw another update on the body, now a more streamlined looking car 1934; new frontal design, longer bonnet and new-shaped radiator and rear panelling.

The final inter-war version was the enormous, extremely elegant fast and powerful 20/8 of 1939; 90hp 4016cc 6 cyl
