Summary[edit]

Description

Franklin cars were famous for their air cooled engines, and as the creator of many firsts in automobile production. Built in Syracuse, New York, car production ended in 1933, but the manufacture of airplane engines continued. After WWII, Preston Tucker bought the company and they built the engines for the famous Tucker cars.

Pioneer Auto Show, Murdo, South Dakota.

Among the many interesting cars that inhabit this museum, in good shape, but most have not been restored. At least they are somewhat protected being inside, though many don't get regular maintenance.
