English: Above photoː The dotted line shows the trajectory of a man who was thrown from passenger side of an automobile that collided with a pole on the sidewalk of the Broadway Bridge on April 7, 1919. The driver of the car was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Below photoː An automobile wreck on the Broadway Bridge on April 7, 1919. The car had a total of four occupants who were thrown form their seats upon collision with a streetcar pole on the sidewalk. They were all seriously injured and the driver, Thomas Oliver Edwards, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. |
