Description
Deutsch: Chief Meli war Häuptling und Anführer eines Aufstandes im kolonialen Deutsch-Ostafrika gegen die Deutsche Schutztruppe, wurde verurteilt und gehängt. Sein Kopf wurde ans Virchow-Institut nach Berlin geschickt.
English: Chief Meli, tribal Chief of the Chagga in colonial german East-Africa in Old Moshi was leader of an uprising against the german Schutztruppe, received the penalty of hanging, his head was sent to the Virchow-Institute in Berlin
