1880 folio print of a pattern guide for engraved razors by Albert Marcius Silber (1833-1886) of the Silber Light Co., London.

Before 1851, Thomas Skinner (ca.1812-1881) had invented an engraving process for knives and razors in which the design could be mass produced.
