Description
English: Captured flag aboard the USS Colorado. On the far right is U.S. Marine Corporal Charles Brown of the USS Colorado. Standing next to him is U.S. Marine Private Hugh Purvis from the USS Alaska. Both were awarded the Medal of Honor. The sailor on the left is believed to be Cyrus Hayden (U.S. Navy) who also received the Medal of Honor for the same action.
