Description Dan Dozier, vice president, Foundation for Underwater Research and Education, explains how a human-powered submarine used during the International Submarine Races works during the 2017 Naval Stem Exposition, co-sponsored by the Navy League of the United States and the Office of Naval Research (ONR). Jae McCoy, 8, along with others gets a first hand look during the event which offers hands-on activities and provides middle and high school students an introduction to naval STEM careers and educational opportunities.
