| Description |
English: In comparison to "The Popper" which often runs empty the Windsor & Eton Central - Slough branch line is one of the busiest in the UK (possibly Europe) all year round transporting 1.849 million passengers in 2012/13, with many tourists using the line to reach Legoland and Windsor each day, and thousands using it on summer Saturdays. The set travels as an empty coaching stock move from Reading depot to Slough and does a shunt into the bay at Slough. From 05:20 it is then on the branch line going up and down providing a 20 minute service from both Slough and Windsor (3 trains per hour). Drivers are only allowed to make a maximum of 8 return trips on the line each day before a driver change must be made. At the end of the day the empty coaching stock move returns back to Reading depot from Slough, the signaller giving access to the mainline after the sleeper train to Cornwall has cleared about 00:10.
