Description 161105-N-XT039-179 SASEBO, Japan (Nov. 5, 2016) Lt. David Hammond (left), a chaplain aboard amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), baptizes the son of Lt. Cmdr. Christopher Dike, the flight deck officer of Bonhomme Richard, on the ship’s flight deck. Bonhomme Richard, forward-deployed to Sasebo, Japan, is serving forward to provide a rapid-response capability in the event of a regional contingency or natural disaster.
