ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 24, 2016) Chief petty officers stand in formation at sunrise before a burial at sea for retired Senior Chief Irvin Hornkohl aboard the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77). Hornkohl, a U.S. Navy veteran of 30 years, served during World War II during the attack on Pearl Harbor, and completed two tours in Vietnam as a Navy Seabee. Hornkohl passed away June 26, 2016 and was laid to rest at sea Sept. 24, 2016. George H.W. Bush is conducting Tailored Ship's Training Availability and Final Evaluation Problem (TSTA/FEP).
