Summary[edit]
Description160731-N-KH151-171 (28205210744).jpg | 160731-N-KH151-171 YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 31, 2016) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) Airman Apprentice Alexander Gollihare, from Georgetown, Texas, uses an air hose to clear dirt and debris from the catwalks of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Catwalks run the length of the ship on both the port and starboard sides and serve as a way to transit between the flight deck and the ship’s interior. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
