N° 15 Rue des Renforts in Toulouse

Description
English: Rue des Renforts N°15 : building, built in the eighteenth century, houses a Gothic niche shell shaped sheltered probably having a statue of the apostle Jacques. It was once in a neighboring house, destroyed during the widening of the street Reinforcements in the early twentieth century and replaced after construction of a new street frontage of reinforcements on the existing building. Similarly, a stone bearing the monogram of Christ is placed back on top of a window.
Français : Le N°15 rue des Renforts: immeuble, construit au XVIIIe siècle, abrite une niche gothique en forme de coquillage, ayant probablement abritée une statuette de l'apôtre Jacques. Elle se trouvait autrefois dans une maison voisine, détruite lors de l'élargissement de la rue des Renforts au début du XXe siècle et replacée, après construction d'une nouvelle façade sur la rue des Renforts, sur l'immeuble actuel. De la même façon, une pierre portant le monogramme du Christ est replacée au-dessus d'une fenêtre.
