Description
Deutsch: Modell eines Küstenseeschiffs (bezaisen mokei - 弁財船模型)

Das Schiffsmodell bezaisen (弁財船) stammt wie das Hausmodell der Daimyō-Residenz von der Modellbauwerkstätte Musashiya Kamakichi (武蔵屋鎌吉), die sich zu Beginn der Meiji-Periode (1600 - 1868) im Stadtteil Asakusa von Tōkyo befand. Dieser in Miniatur dargestellte Schiffstyp wurde auch senkoku bune (千石船) genannt, da er die Menge von 1000 koku Reis (entspricht ca. 278 m3 bzw. einem Würfel mit ca. 6,5 m Seitenlänge) vom Süden entlang der japanischen Pazifikküste in den Kantō-Raum (um Tōkyo) transportierte.
