| Description |
English: 150' corners in the old quarry A pair of soaring corner systems, 160' and 140' high, as part of the old quarry workings at Nesscliffe. The left-hand one is 'The Pit and the Pendulum' E5 5c, and the right-hand is 'Leaf Storm' at E6 6b. Work on the site by local volunteers and the British Mountaineering Council, in conjunction with Shropshire Council's site warden, has removed a number of large trees in this quarry in Feb 2010, in the hope that the main wall on the right will dry out somewhat in the next summer or two, and provide a series of high class, hard routes. |
