Description
English: 3-car class 592 set in red suburban (Cercanías) livery on the line from Murcia del Carmen to Águilas. Most services terminated part way along the line at Lorca with only about three per day reaching the end of the line at this coastal town. My trip there in 1997 was a case of "see what happens" when I get there. I had a very old RENFE paper timetable and at that point no information was available on the internet. To shorten the journey, I decided to take a bus from Cartagena further along the coast to reach Águilas about an hour before the train would have departed based on the very old timetable. As luck would have it, the train departure hadn't changed by more than a few minutes so I took the train to Murcia to spend the night there. 592.069/070 is seen in the rather run down station before departing at 18:45 on 14 April 1997.
