Description From left, U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Richard Bittner, public affairs officer for the 125th Fighter Wing (FW), Lt. Col. Mike Birkeland, commander of Detachment 1, 125th FW, and Senior Master Sgt. Eddie Diaz, the detachment chief enlisted manager, discuss timing and operations plans for Super Bowl XLIV at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Fla., Feb. 5, 2010. The Airmen are part of the ground crew orchestrating details of the pregame flyover Feb. 7, 2010, by four F-15 Eagle fighter aircraft from the 125th FW, based in Jacksonville, Fla. Birkeland said this event marks the first time an Air National Guard unit has performed a flyover at a Super Bowl game.
