Summary[edit]

Description
English: Second shot of the canopy over a bench on the Tottenville-bound platform of the Huguenot Staten Island Railway station in the Huguenot section of Staten Island, New York City. Taken from the Saint George-bound platform on November 14, 2017. The station was originally built in 1860, but was rebuilt as part of a Public Works Administration-sponsored grade elimination project between 1938 and 1939, although the canopy itself is a much more modern rebuild. This time there are no commuters beneath the canopy, wondering why some amateur photographer is pointing a camera in their direction.
