Name: El Basha Hammam in Acre
Description: One of the oldest hammam complexes in the country, established in 1795 by Ahmed Al Jazar, the Ottoman Pasha. There is an opinion that there was also a crusader bathhouse on the site, the remains of which the current hammam was built. The hamam served as a social meeting place for senior officials in the Ottoman government and functioned as a hamam until the establishment of the state

תיאור: אחד ממתחמי החמאם העתיקים בארץ שהוקם בשנת 1795 על ידי אחמד אל ג'זאר, הפאשה העותמאני. ישנה סברה כי במקום קיים גם בית מרחץ צלבני שעל שרידיו הוקם החמאם הנוכחי. החאמם שמש כמקום מפגש חברתי של בכירים בממשל העות'מאני ותפקד עד כחמאם עם קום המדינה
