תיאור: מיגונית ליד קיבוץ רעים, בה נרצחו חוגגי נובה ע"י מחבלים
הערות: כ-30 ממשתתפי המסיבה הסתתרו בתוך מיגונית בטון סמוך לכביש 232 (רעים). המחבלים שהגיעו חמושים ברובי סער ורימונים תקפו בסביבות 07:40 והשליכו רימונים פנימה. ענר שפירא ז"ל, לוחם בסיירת נח"ל נעמד בכניסה ועם עזרה הצליח להשליך לפחות שמונה רימוני הלם ורימונים חיים בחזרה החוצה. רימון אחד של המחבלים לפחות חדר פנימה והתפוצץ, שפירא נהרג. ניצולי המיגונית קראו לו גיבור, ואמרו שהוא הציל את חייהם. בתוך פחות משעה, אחרי קרב, נרצחו יותר מתריסר מהצעירים שהיו במיגונית. הנותרים נלקחו לעזה כבני ערובה, ורק ארבעה ניצלו.
