שם: קיבוץ מלכיה
תיאור: כיבוש מלכיה השני. קרב קשה של חטיבת יפתח נגד הצבא הלבנוני
הערות: קיבוץ בצפון ברכס הרי נפתלי, בתחום המועצה האזורית הגליל העליון. הוקם במרץ 1949 על ידי חיילים מגרעיני הפלמ"ח במסגרת תנועת הקיבוץ המאוחד. מקור השם היסטורי: "מלכיה" הייתה משפחת כוהנים שבניה שירתו בבית המקדש. בחורבן בית שני המשפחה נדדה והתיישבה במקום שבו קיים הקיבוץ. היישוב היהודי התקיים במקום כ-400 שנה. והפך לכפר הערבי אל-מאלכיה. בקרבות מלחמת העצמאות 1948. ואל-מלכיה נפל בידי צבא לבנון. לבסוף נכבש חזרה ע"י כוחות ישראל. ב 10-12/2023 הקיבוץ נפגע מהתקפות הפגזות מלבנון.
