Description
English: Sleeve patch for the 1004th Separate Company of Security and Support of the Land Forces HQ
Українська: герб 1004-го окремого батальйона охорони та обслуговування Командування Сухопутних військ Збройних Сил України.

Кольори та зображення на щиті вживаються у наступних значеннях:

  • срібна зубчата кайма уособлює фортечну стіну – символ неприступності об’єктів, які охороняє батальйон;
  • пурпуровий колір виступає замінником малинового кольору, який не може використовуватися у геральдиці, та уособлює роти охорони;
  • чорний колір, який традиційно пов’язують з технічними військами, уособлює автомобільну роту;
  • лев символізує хоробрість, швидкість, стійкість, силу та велич. В старовину вірили, що лев спить з розплющеними очима, тому він також символізує пильність;
  • алебарда – символ надійної охорони;
  • булава та схрещені мечі на синьому щиті, який тримає лев, вказують на підпорядкованість частини Командуванню Сухопутних військ Збройних Сил України;
  • автомобільне кермо та крила вказують на здійснення батальйоном забезпечення службовим автотранспортом.
Під щитом розміщено стрічку з написом “МИ ЗАВЖДИ НАПОГОТОВІ”, що є девізом військової частини.
