Description

"Defenders of Donetsk Airport" is a 10-hryvnia commemorative coin issued by the National Bank of Ukraine. It is dedicated to honoring the courage and heroism of the defenders of the Donetsk airport - the "cyborgs" who defended it for 242 days, which became a symbol of the selfless struggle for the territorial integrity of Ukraine.


The coin was put into circulation on January 30, 2018. It belongs to the "Armed Forces of Ukraine" series.
