Summary[edit]

Description

The right to be heard is the foundation of all that Oxfam believes and does. When people have the power to claim their basic human rights, they can escape poverty – permanently.

We aim to support poor and marginalized people to gain control over their own lives by exercising their right to political participation, freedom of expression and information, freedom of assembly and access to justice. We help people to demand and exercise their rights, hold their governments and the private sector accountable, and get their issues onto public policy agendas.
