James Holshuh, assigned to Battery B, 1st Battalion, 10th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division prepares the Paladin M109A6 self-propelled howitzer to fire June 18, 2014, during Artillery Table VI exercise at Fort Benning, Ga. The Artillery teams support infantry and tank units in combat; during peacetime they train on howitzers, which is a heavy artillery machine piece with one firing barrel. |
