Description
English: Pacific Ocean (Sept. 26, 2006) - Aviation Boatwain's Mate Handling 2nd Class Ricardo Hernandez receives instructions on aircraft hand signals by Aviation Boatswain's Mate Handling 2nd Class Michael Manuel during flight operations aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). Stennis and the embarked Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9) are operating together for the first time during Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) that began Sept. 21.
