Summary[edit]

Description The U.S. Naval battery during the bombardment of Veracruz, Mexico, on the 24 and 25 of March 1847. The Battery was composed of heavy guns from the U.S. Squadron under Commodore M.C. Perry and commanded by the officers in the following order opposite their respective guns. Drawn on stone by Pfau. Artwork by H.A. Walke, LT, USN. Published by Sarony and Major.
