Summary[edit]

Description
English: Satellite images show a low level circulation in association with the tropical wave over the northwestern Caribbean Sea, with organized deep convection associated with the center, has formed into a tropical depression. The center is nearing the coast of Belize, so the cyclone will have very little time for intensification before landfall. If the system emerges into the Bay of Campeche on Tuesday, as the NHC forecast indicates, some intensification is likely. The primary concern with this system is heavy rainfall which could cause significant flooding over portions of Central America and eastern Mexico. This image was taken by GOES East at 1645Z on June 17, 2013.
