013041 Roman Copper Alloy brooch
Description
English: Roman copper alloy knee brooch, 39mm long and 20mm wide. The brooch is intact, apart from its pin and is made up of a semi-circular plate from which emerges the bow. This also conceals a spring of four coils. This is rounded in form and curves outwards for half its length before turning back on its self, tapering inwards for the most part of its length before terminating in a rectangular 'foot'.
