Description

There is a specter haunting medical research, the specter of pharmaceutical marketing. Big Pharma companies routinely sponsor research and solicit ghostwritten articles to hide their influence on the process for the purpose of boosting their products. But it goes further than this, as it is also relatively common for them to engage in what Sergio Sismondo calls "ghost management," handling the medical research process from experiment planning to publication with motivated ends. Can this ghostly influence be managed? The Paper.
