Gravure réalisée par Charles-Nicolas Cochin fils d'après un dessin de Jean-Baptiste Oudry représentant un buste de Jean de La Fontaine entouré d'animaux et montré du doigt par un petit homme.

Cette gravure est parue dans l'édition complète des fables de La Fontaine, en tête des quatre tomes chez l'éditeur Desaint, Saillant et Durand, rue saint Jean de Beauvais à Paris, imprimée par Charles-Antoine Jombert entre 1755 et 1759.
