Description
English: .50-70 Springfield carbine cartridge
  • Origin: USA
  • Manufaturer: Frankford Arsenal
  • It was adopted in 1871 until 1883, it was Bennet-primed and uses a 430 gr bullet (.50-55-430) and used the same 1.75" case as the .50-70 cartridge, with the empty space in the case filled by card wads seated just under the bullet.
