40 THE TWENTIETH (20th) ANNUAL REPORT OF THESCHOOL FOR NURSES Mr. President and Members of ihc Board of Managers: It is my privilege to present the following report for 1922: The average number of graduate nurses on the staff has been 36 and ofthe student nurse group 197. Of these an average of 26 graduate and 162 student nurses have beenon duty daily in the Presbyterian Hospital. In addition 24 nurses (1 graduateand 23 students), have given 997 nursing days to the Central Free Dispensary; 2graduates, 59 students, 758 days to the Out-Obstetrical Department of theRush Medical College, making 3,526 house calls. 14 students of the Schoolelected four months training at the Chicago State Hospital, accomplishing1.362 days nursing; 10 three months work at Durand Contagious Hospitalgiving 855 days; one 25 days in Social Service Department of the Presby-terian Hospital; 6 a two months period with the Infant Welfare Societymaking a total of 331 days; 4 with the Chicago Visiting Nurse Associatio
