Description
Deutsch: Dresden - (fiktive) Ansicht (um 1900) der bereits 1834 am Stadtrand von Dresden gegründeten Maschinenfabrik Johann Martin Lehmann (1802-1869), am neuen Standort Freiberger Straße 108-116. Hauptprodukte waren Spezialmaschinen und Apparate zur Herstellung von Schokolade und Süßwaren, Buntdruck- und Ölfarben, Toilettenseifen, ect. Die Firma wurde nach dem Tod des Gründers vom Sohn Louis Bernhard Lehmann (Kommerzienrat) übernommen. Sie hatte um 1910 bereits etwa 700 Mitarbeiter und eine Filiale in Heidenau-Mügeln mit 150 Mitarbeitern, in diesen Ort wurde das Werk nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg verlagert. Die Firma war bei den Weltausstellung 1893 in Chicago (Grand Prix), 1900 in Paris, St. Louis 1904 und bei der Internat. Hygiene-Ausstellung in Dresden 1911 vertreten. Das Werk in Dresden wurde 1945 vollständig zerstört, der Heidenauer Betriebsteil wurde in einen VEB umgewandelt.
